School Holiday Program

In January 2012 we are presenting The Pied Piper - a new musical written by BJ Anyos and Georgia Pike

This two-week drama program and production will be run as a two-week school holiday drama program which culminates in 8 performances on stage. The program runs from 9-13 and 16-21 January 2012 from 10.00-4.00 pm each day. The first week of the program is run at the Downer Community Centre and the second week, and performances, will be at Theatre,Ellery Crescent, Acton. This program is suitable for children aged 8-16 and no singing or acting experience is required. The musical production of The Pied Piper that we will perform is a new production written by very experienced facilitators. It is full of original songs and witty dialogue. There are the usual characters including a lot of rats. There are roles suitable for all age groups and experience levels. The children will be supported on stage by experienced teen actors who have worked with the program in previous years. The production lasts one hour and we are sure will be enjoyed by participants and audiences alike. The total cost for the two-week, full-time program is $350, ie only $35 per day. It cannot be done part time.
