Child Play, the complete children's drama program - "children can do everything "

Teen Play

The Teen Play Program

Teen Play is a new initiative of Child Players ACT which began in 2010 with the production of Mort by Terry Pratchett from 30 June to 3 July.  The Teen Play group is made up of young actors aged 14-18 all of whom have graduated from the Child Play program. Mort is a very funny play adapted for the stage by Stephen Briggs which will particularly appeal to older kids, teenagers and adults who are Terry Pratchett fans or who just love fantasy.  There will be only seven performances at 7.30pm on 30 June, 1, 2 and 3 July and matinees at 2.00pm on 1, 2 and 3 July. Performances are at the Belconnen Theatre, Swanson Court, Belconnen. All tickets only $12 with group ticket price of $10 for bookings of 10+. Tickets can be booked or are available at the door one hour before performances. For bookings and info contact Kathy on 0410 049 834.

It had been planned to produce a Teen Play each year, however the program will not be proceeding in 2011 but plans are in hand to produce another Terry Pratchett play in 2012.
